What to Expect
Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, the Warehouse Operative will coordinate the efficient movement of inbound and outbound materials to support and ensure the continued and timely running of the production line. This newly created role will also include the inspection of inbound materials and supporting the management of the MRO inventory. 
What You'll Do
  • Inspection of inbound materials to ensure adherence to the agreed Product Standards. 
  • Raise Non-Conforming Material documentation on inbound materials as required. 
  • Ensure that all deliveries to site are received, unloaded, decanted and properly administered in SAP. 
  • Responsibility for the picking and kitting of ‘sets’ in a timely manner to enable the production plan. 
  • Liaise with Production and Supply Chain to ensure the continued running of the line, responding to any queries regarding shortages and replacement parts quickly and efficiently.  
  • Responsible for the preparation and arrangement of outbound shipping activities, such as returnable packaging. 
  • Organisation and management of the Goods In, Goods Out and Stores to ensure efficient material storage and handling and high levels of inventory accuracy. 
  • Transport Materials between alternative manufacturing sites. 
  • Miscellaneous duties, which are work-related, as assigned. 

What You'll Bring
  • Current fork lift license preferred although training offered to the appropriate candidate. 
  • Good working knowledge and experience of SAP & Microsoft packages desirable. 
  • Demonstratable experience of working within a fast paced, lean production environment. 
  • Previous experience of material inspection and MRO inventory managementadvantageous
  • Well organised, demonstrating a methodical approach and meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Highly motivated and confident with good interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Resilient, able to work independently under pressure and to tight deadlines. 
  • Flexible approach to working hours (early, day or late) including evenings and weekends.
