What to Expect
Reporting to MSO’s Commercial Manager, you will be a key member of the visualisation team, producing digital visualisation stills and real-time assets to support and enhance the customer journey, turning our client’s ideas into reality through the provision of bespoke rendering services.
You will support the interface between MSO Visualisation and key stakeholders such as MSO Operations and Global Design to ensure delivery of MSO visualisation projects in line with requirements and cross functionally defined SLAs, through positive and productive collaboration.
This is a highly creative role, offering an exciting opportunity to directly impact the customer journey and support wider marketing initiatives such as product development. 
What You'll Do
  • Ensuring all renders are delivered effectively, whilst consistently achieving our departmental SLAs 
  • Support remote and face to face customer specification meetings and events, delivering visualisation assets whilst demonstrating exemplary creativity and attention to detail 
  • Liaise with the MSO paint team to take Bespoke livery designs from concept to execution, including delivery of accurate vector formats from artwork 
  • Create high quality customer facing presentations and PDFs (for use with both external customers and the McLaren senior leadership team) 
  • Support the Commercial Manager with the management of external agency provision of rendering / visualisation services 
  • Working in conjunction with our colleagues in Global Design, support the MSO Product team in the development of new MSO Bespoke livery product offers 
  • Support the business planning process, ensuring ongoing capacity and the required skillsets to deliver future visualisation requirements 

What You'll Bring
  • Educated to degree level Automotive design, 3D Product Design or similar, with relevant experience (ideally automotive)
  • Thorough knowledge of VRED, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Working knowledge of UV mapping, modelling and texturing
  • Familiar in creation of building photo-realistic materials, lighting and production of final imagery
  • Experience with other relevant software desirable such as Unreal Engine 4/5, Blender, Alias, Maya, 3D Studio Max
  • Ability to setup VR projects with interaction and navigation controls a bonus
  • Experience with data conversion starting with basic CAD data
  • Strong graphic design skills and confident with presenting to customers and key stakeholders
  • Ability to accurately tape vehicles to assist paint team
  • Confident developing and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Experience of effectively coordinating several high paced projects simultaneously, sometimes of very different nature, and manage frequent and constructive communication with global intercultural teams based in remote locations
