Description & Requirements

Background

No restraints. No limitations. We don’t simply push boundaries. We completely rethink them. McLaren Automotive exists to create breath-taking performance road cars.

With innovation at the core of all we do, every challenge starts with the same question. How can we do it better? This restless spirit runs right through McLaren Automotive. And the search for perfection is evident in everything we do.

Purpose of Role

You will set attribute targets and define the experiences to meet those targets.  Targets for each vehicle programme will be influenced by user insights, legislative and technical constraints, product roadmaps and market trends. Delivery against these targets will involve defining experiences through wireframing, workflow diagrams and written specifications. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders (including ergonomics, vehicle software and infotainment) to ensure the defined experience is delivered and signed off as meeting targets.

About the User Experience Team

The UX team at McLaren Automotive makes the world's best supercars even better, by making them easy, safe and enjoyable to use. We help to develop every car made by McLaren, by defining all physical and digital interactions between user and vehicle.

  • Support of regular programme meetings
  • Ensure UX content satisfies Legislation, Functional Safety and Product Liability in all applicable markets.
