What to Expect

A Talent Acquisition Advisor provides a "Best in Class" recruitment service, and participates fully as a member of the People & Culture Team, driving efficient and effective solutions to a broad range of roles within the business.


What You'll Do

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will be working in the internal recruitment team as part of the wider People & Culture function within McLaren Automotive.

You will take responsibility for key departments and become a trusted advisor, developing an in-depth knowledge on their requirements to ensure that you can attract the best talent into our business. You will focus on providing an excellent candidate experience, whilst advising and coaching hiring managers on the market conditions, availability of talent, and the options available to them. We have a drive to continuously improve our service and you will be heavily involved in the development of this, alongside the rest of the Talent Acquisition team.


What You'll Bring

  • Proven success in fast moving high volume, and/or niche recruitment environment.
  • Experience of hiring for all levels in an organisation including liaising with agencies and head-hunters.
  • Experience of recruiting end to end in a multi-disciplined environment, including sourcing for complex and hard to find skill sets.
  • Proven ability to influence others through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Credible recruiter knowledge, with a strong track record of success.
  • Knowledge of the recruitment market both in the UK and international markets; including scarce in-demand skills, market rates, etc.
  • A good understanding of the different facets of the business, and the knowledge and skills required in those roles.
  • A demonstrable track record through data, metrics and impact on the business.
  • Experience of working within an automotive or engineering environment would be an advantage.
