What to Expect
The IT Service Delivery team at McLaren are accountable for how our users 
consume our services to enable them to be the most effective and 
productive in their respective parts of our business. The ServiceNow 
Developer role will work as part of a team managing the platform 
administration, development and continuous improvement to meet the 
changing business needs. This role will need to collaborate closely with 
colleagues across IT and other areas of the business.
What You'll Do
The ServiceNow Developer will work within a team responsible for the day?to-day support, maintenance and improvement of the ServiceNow platform. 
This will include configuration, performance and security management, and 
agreed platform enhancements and development changes. 
− Identifying opportunities to improve platform efficiency and user experience.
− Ensuring platform governance and adherence to ServiceNow best practices, to 
deliver maximum value to our business.
− Delivering the pipeline of ServiceNow enhancement requests.
− Working with other support/development teams where required and 
communicating directly with the requestors of the enhancement.
− Working as part of the team responsible for ServiceNow support and platform 
administration, 
− Including fixes, patching, updates, cloning and version upgrades.
− Creating documentation and training to support platform adoption and 
knowledge sharing

What You'll Bring
− Proven experience in the administration, configuration and 
development of ServiceNow, including ITSM Pro and SPM modules.
− ServiceNow certifications desirable, e.g. Certified System 
Administrator.
− A strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management 
principles.
− Experience of interpreting business requirements and turning these 
into actionable tasks.

− Experience in managing priorities and delivering quality projects on 
time using agile principals.
− Experience using Flow Designer and Virtual Agent Designer.
− Creative thinker always looking to drive continuous improvement with

− Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
− Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
