Purpose of Role

Reporting directly into the Chief Transformation Officer the senior manager is responsible for driving performance of the transformation workstreams cross functionally across the wider business and directly managing personnel in the transformation team.

The role operates at a senior leadership level, attending executive meetings and is accountable for delivering transformational targets.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Jointly lead activities with senior leadership team to drive performance
  • Create and deploy timely robust mitigation plans to maintain performance
  • Create an effective structure with assigned accountabilities to guarantee performance
  • Provide strong and robust leadership
  • Represent the department in cross function reviews positively
  • Formulate and manage the workstream KPIs to ensure that the required activities are completed to the required standard in the defined timescales
  • Support and foster a cross-functional approach to achieve the teams' objectives.
  • Drive and deliver the execution of key decisions to achieve agreed targets and metrics of the workstream
  • Ensure consistent and accurate reporting back to CTO to protect overarching workstream deliverables
  • Maintain independence to protect integrity of data
  • Create visibility and drive completion of actions to ensure progress on transformation workstreams
  • Remain updated on workstream progress to ensure roadblocks and risks are highlighted and mitigated
  • Drive executive & director accountability
  • Create stretch targets above BP
  • Ensure business areas recognise and delivery to their targets
  • Deploy coaching techniques to facilitate open communication and challenge limiting behaviours
  • Create a platform for cross functional working
