Purpose of Role

Please note, this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.


This role leads the growth of the McLaren licensed consumer goods and Partnerships programs as the company begins substantial diversification into luxury lifestyle, technology and beyond. 

Principal Accountabilities
  • Account Management. Manage key account relationships and build business plans to realise revenue and brand growth
  • Strategic Marketing. Collaborate with partners and licensees on marketing activation campaigns to deliver tangible ROI
  • Negotiation. Lead new key licensee and partner commercial negotiations to maximise both income and brand equity
  • Onboarding. Onboard new accounts successfully, welcome new partners and licensees, agree targets and product portfolios, support campaign planning
  • Operations and Finance management. Oversee operations and finance management, including departmental P&L, business reporting and forecasting
  • Agency management. Manage global licensing agency relationship to ensure targets are met

You’ll be leading a team of four to deliver a best-in-class account management and partnership development program; coaching, developing and challenging. You’ll develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company both centrally and regionally to fulfil commercial and brand objectives.

 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • You’ll have 5 or more years in a mid-senior position with a proven track record of global B2B account and consumer products management
  • Substantial experience in international Licensing or Partnership programs
  • You’ll have proven experience in executing strategic B2B business and marketing plans
  • You’ll be an experienced leader, builder, motivator and coach of commercially successful teams, and you can demonstrate how you’ve built effective relationships across departments to achieve financial targets and joint goals.
