What to Expect
We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Finance Analyst to join McLaren Automotive Limited (MAL) as
a Finance Business Partner within the Commercial & Corporate Functions team. This is a diverse role
combining technical accounting with business partnering, reporting directly to the Head of Finance,
Commercial & Corporate Functions.

The role will act as the primary day‑to‑day finance partner and key point of contact for Quality,
Finance, Legal and the CEO Office, while also providing support to the wider Commercial & Corporate
Finance team as required. A solid understanding of the broader Commercial and Corporate landscape
is essential, enabling effective cross‑cover and support when needed. This position offers genuine
visibility across the organisation and requires an agile, proactive individual who can confidently work
with multiple senior stakeholders across the business.

A core responsibility of the role is to maintain full ownership and control of business unit financials,
including actuals, forecasts and budgets. The Senior Finance Analyst will play a key role in delivering
the financial OKRs for their supported functions, partnering closely with stakeholders to provide
robust financial insight, accurate analysis, and strong financial control to support effective
decision‑making.

Role Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted finance business partner to key stakeholders across MAL
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all financial queries relating to the areas within your
  • Develop a strong understanding of business unit OKRs and work collaboratively with teams to support and deliver against these objectives
  • Support the annual budget and forecast process
  • Be responsible for the delivery of all financial reporting to the business units, including monthly performance reports and analysis
  • Manage the month end process and journal postings
  • Manage the financial performance, hold budget owners in your business units to account and analyse actual results against the approved business plan
  • Regular meetings with business partners and key stakeholders
  • Proactively identify risks to the business units and support opportunities
  • Be a champion of robust business processes and financial controls
  • Manage the development of forward-looking business plans and budgets, ensuring they are aligned to the company’s imperatives and that they are commercially robust
  • Support the development of tools to help improve the forecasting and budgeting process 
What You'll Bring
  • Finance business partner experience is desirable but not required
  • Big 4 experience desired
  • Prior experience in the Automotive, Manufacturing or Engineering sector is beneficial
