We are recruiting for a Senior Creative Artist to join our fantastic Design team in Woking, As the Senior Creative Artist you will be working within the Design Visualisation Team, you will deliver the pinnacle of photorealistic imagery and cinematic sequences to sell the vision of McLarens future vehicle line up.
You will produce content to enable the Design Team to “sell breath-taking products” and build the future of visualisation at McLaren. This will not only be used by design at the early stages of development but throughout the business.
- Delivering world class CGI Imagery and video content
- Working alongside the Visualiastion manager to plan and deliver all Visualisation requirements
- Leading the development of Automotive scenes using UE5. Including photorealistic environments, lighting, and vehicle materials
- Contributing to the high-level roadmap for Design studio and Visualisation Team deliverables
- Driving the implementation of new technologies to increase value to the Design Delivery
- Leading cross functional groups to solve design problems
- Developing and implementing data optimisations from CAS and Studio Engineering teams
- Developing guidelines and workflows to ensure best practices across Creative Visualisation team
- Collaborating deliver excellent finished products including, CGI studio photography, vehicle themes and liveries, internal teaser and reveal cinematics
- Supporting events as a Brand Ambassador as required
- Successful completion of a university-level course with specialisation in Automotive Design, 3D Games art or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 as primary software
- Has led 2 end-to-end projects to achieve successful outcomes in CGI Imagery and / or Video content
- Has worked with key stakeholders to scope project requirements and can deliver on cross functional agreements while pro-actively solving issues throughout the project
- Previous professional experience in an Automotive Design Studio, Computer Games industry or using realtime rendering in a games engine
- Experience working with 3D software packages and modelling such as Blender, VRED or Alias
- Key generalist skills: Material Development, UV Mapping, Texture Painting, Level Building, Variant Manager, Basic UI/UX interface
