No restraints. No limitations. We don’t simply push boundaries. We completely rethink them. McLaren Automotive exists to create breath-taking performance road cars.

With innovation at the core of all we do, every challenge starts with the same question. How can we do it better? This restless spirit runs right through McLaren Automotive. And the search for perfection is evident in everything we do.

Purpose of Role

As the SQD Manager, you'll manage the day-to-day running of core parts quality processes (Hotline, NCMP, RTV) and the resources that carry them out. You'll manage a team of engineers for series engineering change management and supplier 8D. You will manage any supplier responsible Q-Spill activities in MPC alongside Quality Engineering and work cross functionally with both SQD Management and Operations (Logistics, Manufacturing) to establish a combined agreed status for supplied parts quality disruptions (“high hurts suppliers”) ensuring that improvement plans are in place and regularly reviewed.

The SQD manager acts as the single voice for supplier parts quality topics, communicating status against all supplier responsible down time, NCP, and rework topics into daily production meetings.
