What to Expect
The SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying innovative applications and extensions on SAP’s cloud platform. This role focuses on leveraging SAP BTP services such as SAP Fiori, CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), SAP HANA Cloud, and Integration Suite to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions that enhance core SAP systems like S/4HANA.
What You'll Do
Application Development
− Design and develop cloud-native applications using SAP BTP services including CAP, Node.js/Java, and SAP HANA Cloud.
− Build and extend SAP Fiori/UI5 applications with responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
− Develop APIs and microservices for integration with SAP and non?SAP systems.
Integration & Extensibility
− Implement integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), Event Mesh, and API Management.
− Extend standard SAP applications using side-by-side extensibility models on BTP.
DevOps & Lifecycle Management
− Manage application lifecycle using CI/CD pipelines, Git repositories, and SAP Business Application Studio.
− Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Collaboration & Support
− Work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
− Provide technical support, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
What You'll Bring
Technical Skills
− Proficiency in SAP BTP services: CAP, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Fiori/UI5, and SAP Integration Suite.
− Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL.
− Experience with OData services, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud platforms (e.g., SAP BTP, Azure, AWS).
Soft Skills
− Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
− Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
− Agile mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Experience & Qualifications
− 3–5 years of experience in SAP development, with at least 1–2 years on SAP BTP.
− SAP certifications in BTP, Fiori, or Integration Suite (preferred)
