Purpose of Role

This role is critical to ensuring the EMEA Region is able to achieve its ambitious network growth in terms of number of retail locations and performance of each market, whilst also improving and developing new and existing processes, fostering a culture of operation excellence

 

Reporting to the Regional Business Manager – EMEA, you will be responsible for supporting the development and roll-out of the regional network strategy and the successful implementation of new retailers, also working alongside the regional teams to ensure the on-boarding process is complete on time.

 

Additionally, in this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all legal communications with the retailer network are professionally managed. Working with key internal stakeholders in the Network Development, Regional and Legal teams you will assist in the drafting, issuing and filing of all such communications.

Principal Accountabilities

Network Strategy

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify viability of new and existing markets for expansion 
  • Analysis of market data to support the long-term strategy development for key markets across the EMEA region
  • In-depth analysis of market performance and opportunity across the EMEA Region
  • Create business case documents ready for presentation to senior stakeholders in the business

Network Development

  • Drive, Coordinate and support EMEA Regional team to issue annual operating documents such as Operating Standards for Sales, Aftersales, Warranty and Paint & Bodyshop
  • Support the Regional Teams to maximise network training participation and continued development of processes surrounding training in general
  • Support the annual Retailer Audit programme across the EMEA region
  • Responsible for managing the annual invoicing requirements for EMEA retailers, setting a clear timeline for when invoices need to be raised and communication to the network to maximise efficiency through the internal teams
  • Support the continued development of McLaren’s composite data programme, working alongside internal and external stakeholders to ensure all retailers are reporting accurate data on time each month
  • Continue to develop and enhance regional processes and documentation to always drive operational excellence  

Network Performance
  • Work alongside Network Development teams, Retail design Team and Regional teams to ensure successful on-boarding of new retailers
  • Act as the point of contact between the Regional Team and Central Network Development to provide timely updates on new projects through build and implementation phase, reporting any project risks to
  • Manage project close out to required standard ensuring successful handover to Regional Team
  • Supporting the Regional Business Manager in the drafting, issuing and filing of regional legal letters, contracts and agreements.
  • Develop and manage processes to ensure all regional communications are correctly and accurately filed with correct internal department
  •  Support the Regional team to continue to develop and roll-out McLaren’s 2nd Generation Corporate Identity across the EMEA region


Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Experience in the Automotive industry that would translate into this role, ideally from a Network Development, Sales or Aftersales background  
  • Proven experience in franchising is in an automotive environment would be advantageous
  • Understanding of the Retailer automotive industry
  • Detail orientated with excellent project management skills
  • Experience of a role with similar requirements in terms of co-ordination and administration
  • Ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Demonstrable experience of analysing data with a high level of detail and an ability to report results
