Purpose of Role

As Pricing Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Pricing Strategy Manager in developing our global pricing strategies for current and future vehicles.

This is a varied role where you will be interacting with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and responsible for providing accurate and meaningful information in a timely manner.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Assessing data from a variety of sources to support with the development of global pricing strategies
  • Liaising with regional offices to monitor and analyse McLaren’s competitor pricing across the globe as well as maintain intelligence on market specific tax and duty structures
  • Support with the development of input revenues for Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting processes. This requires analysis and presentation of financial metrics such as revenue, EBITDA and EBIT
  • Performing ad hoc analysis, gathering necessary information to support decision-making
  • Price development, supporting to model and maintain price structures for future McLaren markets across the globe
  • Communicate effectively through presentations & emails
  • Develop and enhance pricing spreadsheets and processes to drive efficiency
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Strong excel skills and the ability to deal with complex data is essential
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Ability to develop and enhance processes and spreadsheets of a complex nature
  • Strong numerical background
  • Experience working within premium automotive industry desirable but not essential
