What to Expect
As People & Culture Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring all people related data is entered and maintained flawlessly on our systems ensuring a leading administration service.
 This is an incredibly fast paced role that will make you the first point of contact for all employee queries including benefit queries, resolving issues or escalating to the People & Culture Advisors.
What You'll Do
* Support the People & Culture Advisors in providing a right first time, flawless administration service
 * Ensure documentation, files, systems and spreadsheets are up to date and ready for new starters (swipe cards, seating, car park passes and stickers, access etc)
 * The first point of contact for all employee queries
 * Responsible for ensuring that the monthly payroll is completed accurately and on time - payroll data is entered into SAP correctly and checked before payroll submission
 * Assist the People & Culture Advisor when required with coordination of training requirements and administration
 * Responsible for preparing and administering all written offers / contracts / new starter documentation
 * Conducting and co-ordinating inductions for new starters
 * Assist the People & Culture Advisor in monitoring attendance and identifying attendance concerns. Input sickness/absence for the company
 * Assist with People & Culture projects and achievement of the annual people calendar
 * Responsible for the co-ordination of all Maternity/Paternity leave
 * Referrals for Occupational Health as and when required - monitor and action as appropriate
 * Draw up acceptance of resignation letters, organise exit interviews. Keep exit interview data up to date
 * Update and maintain all policies, employee documents in line with legislative changes or process updates
 * Identify Continuous improvement opportunities to policy, process and system to gain operational efficiencies.
What You'll Bring
* Strong Excel skills, including advanced formula skills and data manipulation
 * Experience of Payroll checks and processing essential
 * Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage a demanding workload on a daily basis
 * High attention to detail and accuracy of information
 * Experience within a fast paced and busy HR function preferable.
 * SAP HCM (or similar system) experience is desirable but not essential.
 * Effective communication skills written and verbal to all levels of employees
