Purpose of Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled, motivated individual to join our ultimate paint team. Experience working on prestige vehicles essential. The successful applicant will be expected to work in all areas of the bespoke paint process on all models/ projects ranging from, production series projects, bespoke commissions, and future model concepts.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Understand and follow detailed work instructions relating to the polishing of high-end Parts. 
  •  Experience in working within a paint shop environment or a production line environment is preferred. 
  •  Meticulous attention to detail is required and a quality driven approach essential. 
  •  Ensure that all polish and detail operations on each part are completed to the required quality standard. 
  •  Ensure that all operations are completed within the required timescale. 
  •  Work as part of a team as well as individually. 
  •  Attend the workplace on a regular and timely basis, informing the team leader of any lateness or unplanned absence in a timely manner. 
  •  Ensure the work area is clean, tidy, and orderly at all times in line with brand expectations. 
  •  Maintain a neat and orderly appearance within the workplace, using the uniform/ clothing provided. 
  •  Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and other team members, participating in safety activities as requested. 
  •  Participate in continuous improvement activities as requested. Understand and adhere to the McLaren Values.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in automotive polishing essential
