What to Expect
The PLM Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, 
coordination, and execution of major PLM initiatives across the organization. 
This role oversees project teams, manages timelines and budgets, ensures 
stakeholder alignment, and mitigates risks. The ideal candidate has deep 
experience in PLM environments, strong leadership capabilities, and a 
proven ability to deliver complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and 
within scope.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the delivery of complex PLM projects or programs across multiple business units or regions.
  • Manage full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure that PLM solutions meet business objectives, technical requirements, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and subject matter experts to align technical delivery with business needs.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
  • Oversee vendor and third-party engagement, including coordination of deliverables and performance monitoring.
  • Report project status to steering committees and executive sponsors 
  • through regular dashboards and governance reviews.


What You'll Bring

  • Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, 
  • Smartsheet).
  • Excellent knowledge of project delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, 
  • Hybrid).
  • Essential Functional / Technical Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information 
  • Systems, or related field.
  • Experience managing enterprise IT or engineering projects, including specifically in PLM.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale PLM implementations or upgrades.
  • Experience working in regulated or high-complexity industries (e.g., aerospace, automotive, etc).
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including with executive audiences.
  • Effective team leadership, with the ability to mentor and influence team members and peers.
  • Proven ability to manage complex issues and competing priorities under pressure
