What to Expect
  • The PLM Operations Manager is responsible for managing a team of PLM support and operations specialists to ensure the continuous performance, stability, and reliability of the enterprise PLM system. 
  • The role combines technical oversight with people management, ensuring service delivery aligns with business needs and operational SLAs. 
  • The ideal candidate brings strong technical understanding of PLM platforms, excellent leadership skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the PLM operations team, including system administrators, analysts, and support staff.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily support activities, incident resolution, and service request fulfilment.
  • Ensure availability and performance of the PLM system, including proactive monitoring and issue prevention.
  • Manage the PLM support queue, prioritize work, and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
  • Drive operational excellence through documentation, process standardization, and root cause analysis.
  • Act as a key escalation point for high-impact incidents and critical system issues.
  • Participate in and lead operational reviews, audits, and compliance initiatives.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

What You'll Bring
  • At least 5–8 years of experience in PLM operations or engineering systems support.
  • 5+ years of experience in a team leadership or coordination role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault Enovia, Aras Innovator).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Clear and confident communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
