Purpose of Role

Responsible to co-ordinate marketing standards, tools and assets to support the McLaren retailer network in launch and sustainment activities across all business areas. Responsible to implement the global Qualified marketing plan and champion best practice to ensure stable residual values. Reporting on retailer’s marketing performance and brand adherence. 

Principal Accountabilities
  • Develop and co-ordinate the Retailer Marketing Standards and manage quarterly updates
  • Issue regular marketing communications and briefings to the regional field teams and the global retailer network to keep stakeholders informed about company news and upcoming campaigns
  • Develop and manage the production of retailer assets for launch, sustainment & qualified (pre-owned) activities
  • Manage the McLaren Marketing Suite incl. asset uploads, storage, deletion and physical marketing collateral distributions
  • Work closely with the Global Used Car team to develop marketing initiatives which underpin the RVs
  • Drive and optimise the Qualified lead management at global, regional & retailer level
  • Co-ordinate the marketing fleet cars for regional field teams and communicate any movements between the headquarter, the workshops and regions
  • Manage relationships with the Central Marketing Team, the Qualified Programme, Regions and the McLaren retailer network 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Highly capable of co-ordinating multiple projects at the same time
  • Communication and stakeholder management to enable good collaboration between various teams at central, regional & retailer level
  • Highly motivated, self-starter and able to work well under pressure
  • Strong planning and project management skills
  • Automotive industry background (OEM, Aftermarket, Supplier or Dealership)
  • B2B communications & stakeholder management
  • Customer experience & service backround
  • Understanding of marketing principles
  • Understanding of cultural differences and market requirements in international work environment
  • Solid understanding of the pre-owned automotive market
