Reporting to Head of Client Insights & Customer Journey, this is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, dynamic and operational individual to join the Global Brand & Client Department at McLaren Automotive.
The Specialist for Marketing Performance & Analytics connects investment to impact. Reporting into Client Insights & Customer Journey, this role analyses media and campaign effectiveness, runs incrementality tests, and translates performance into practical spend and funnel recommendations for Regions and Retailers. It maintains the brand to demand line of sight — attribution inputs and campaign ROI — so the organisation can scale what works, stop what doesn’t, and move at pace toward qualified orders and loyalty.
- Performance measurement — maintain campaign and market dashboards linking awareness, engagement, qualified leads, orders and early CLV; ensure definitions align to the global scorecard.
- Attribution & ROI — assemble clean data for attribution models and run practical incrementality tests; translate outputs into simple allocation guidance for channels and markets.
- Funnel diagnostics — identify bottlenecks by market/retailer (response time, test drive conversion, order drop off) and drive corrective actions with the Customer Journey team.
- Campaign readouts — produce crisp pre/mid/postlaunch reviews with clear actions; close the loop with Brand Marketing & Communications and Global Digital.
- Forecast support — contribute to demand forecasts by turning performance trends into near term conversion expectations.
- Market enablement — equip Regions with playbooks and benchmarks; coach retailer teams on the few metrics that matter for speed and conversion.
- Experience: 3+ years in performance analytics for luxury/automotive or high consideration lead gen; comfortable with regional nuances and distributor retailer execution.
- Commercially minded analyst who can prioritise actions over noise; excellent communicator with senior and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Tools: Power BI/Fabric, Microsoft Copilot; familiarity with Attribution workflows; Dynamics 365 CRM/CI and web analytics basics.
- Ways of working: inclusive, concise, and rigorous on comparability and definitions.
- Budget optimiser insights — AI assisted recommendations that blend attribution signals with funnel health to reallocate spend by market/channel.
- Anomaly & outlier detection — early warning for spend/lead spikes or conversion dips tied to creative, journey or retailer process issues.
- Narrative copilots — auto draft “so what / now what” for performance packs with source links and confidence bands.
