Purpose of Role

Working within the Maintenance & Facilities team to support the newly formed McLarens Composites Technology Centre’s multimillion pound and state of the art equipment. This role is supporting all the maintenance activities on site by ensuring critical spares are available and the site is supported.

Principal Accountabilities

1.       To manage the maintenance stores area to ensure all stock levels are correct, all spares are in the correct location and any risks are identified
2.       Place orders for spares, receive items and goods receipt when required
3.       Work with maintenance team to ensure they have the correct parts in a timely manner
4.       Assist in planned maintenance activities
5.       Assist in repairing spares
6.       Input and assist with computerised maintenance management system

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Experience in a maintenance or engineering environment CMMS experience, ideally E-Maint, desirable but not essential
Procurement experience, ideally SAP, desirable but not essential
Stores / Inventory management experience
Mechanical fitting or bench fitting experience desirable but not essential

·       Confident to present and report to senior members of the business and other stakeholders
