We are recruiting for a Learning and Development Advisor to join our fantastic People and Transformation department in Woking, As the Learning and Development (L&D) Advisor you will play a pivotal role in enabling continuous growth and development of our colleagues. You will be responsible for planning, designing and delivering high-quality core skills development through commercial and apprenticeship levy funds. You will also be expected to facilitate learning sessions and partner across the organisation to support work in developing and maintaining a comprehensive skills taxonomy and matrix that aligns with our business objectives.
- Planning and delivering the overall annual core skills and central training agenda for McLaren.
- Designing and delivering engaging L&D sessions tailored to the needs of our colleagues.
- Utilising training needs analysis tools to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities.
- Collaborating with departments to implement and continuously improve the skills taxonomy and matrix that supports career progression and business growth.
- Contributing to the management of digital learning tools and experiences.
- Coordinating training events and analyse feedback to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience for all participants.
- Engaging with and manage our external training suppliers.
- Staying abreast of the latest trends in L&D and incorporate innovative practices into our offering
- 3+ years proven experience in designing and delivering L&D sessions. training programs and/or learning catalogues.
- Ideally holds a degree in people/organisation development, organisation psychology, business management or related field.
- Familiar with 70/20/10 (3E’s) and training needs analysis tools and techniques.
- Is a natural coach, able to clarify needs in development and skills conversations.
- Experience in developing skills taxonomies and matrices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Significant evidence of relevant budgeting, project management and organisation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in the use of digital learning technologies and platforms.
