In order to support our growth and investment in the senior leadership team at McLaren, we are looking to expand out Talent Acquisition team with a Leadership Talent Acquisition Partner. Working closely with our Executive Directors and CEO, you will be responsible for supporting our succession plans, and building talent pipelines to support our business strategy.
As a key part of the Talent Acquisition team, you will also be involved with all team activities and actively support our transformation agenda across all parts of the business.
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be a part of a growing and evolving team, providing a full, best in class, inhouse recruitment service.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive executive recruitment strategy aligned with the organisation's growth plans and talent needs
- Manage end-to-end senior recruitment processes, from sourcing and assessment to offer negotiation and onboarding
- Build and nurture relationships with key external search partners to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team, and HR to understand talent requirements and ensure a strategic approach to executive-level hiring
- Work proactively within the market to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging markets and understand the technological changes affecting our industry
- Benchmark the market with regard to compensation and total reward and advice the business on our strategic positioning within this
- Keep up to date with the global market for talent, emerging talent pools and our competitors for talent
- Create Talent Pipelines across all senior levels of the business to ensure that strategic networks are developed and nurtured
- Provide exceptional candidate care at all stages of the process
- A minimum of 10 years proven experience in within recruitment, with at least 5 of these in executive recruitment
- Preferably degree educated, CIPD within HR or Business is advantageous, or the equivalent experience within business
- Search and selection experience is advantageous, as is a mix of inhouse and agency recruitment at senior levels
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven record of dealing with Executive Directors
- Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
- In-depth knowledge of executive search methodologies, candidate assessment techniques, and industry best practices
- Strategic mindset and the ability to align recruitment initiatives with broader business goals
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organizational environment
- Ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders
- High levels of resilience
- Flexibility in relation to hours to accommodate communication with senior candidates, many of whom will be overseas
- Ability to be in Woking based 5 days a week
