What to Expect
We’re seeking a Lead Visualisation Artist to join our team, reporting to our Digital Visualisation Manager. You will be creating stunning images, animations & real-time experiences using industry standard tools like Unreal, Blender & Vred combining technical skills, creative aesthetic and brand values. You will need to be highly creative, detail oriented, with great communication skills, to work collaboratively with cross functional teams in a fast paced and people focussed culture. You will work in a diverse design team of designers, modellers and engineers, but closely alongside ‘creative strategy’, comprising of CMF/Graphics and UX design, to bring our designs to life.
What You'll Do
  • Create accurate and detailed images, animations & real-time experiences ensuring the utmost efficiency & realism in content creation.
  • Work closely with the Visualization Manager and design leadership to maximise productivity and impact, whilst keeping milestones, timescale and deadlines.
  • Develop luxury creative style in collaboration with design teams, ensuring visual asset consistency across various mediums.
  • Support the implementation of new techniques & technologies to add value to the Visualisation outputs.
  • Prepare data from digital modelling and engineering for optimal performance and flexibility in both real-time and offline rendering.
  • Create and iterate digital materials in close collaboration with CMF for accuracy across multiple render engines. 
  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently, adhering to set processes and timelines.
  • Make accurate and descriptive visualisation content to aid design development, ensuring the right design decisions are made.
  • Work with UX and design teams to help animate dynamic features like screen content, exterior lamp sequences, interior ambient lighting, and mechanical features like doors and spoilers etc.
  • Work with 2D backplates and create environments to set the designs in context to a photorealistic level.
What You'll Bring
Business Knowledge:
  • Understanding the vehicle design & development process to understand how and when digital visualization techniques add value.
  • Understanding of the design and brand creative values so that content is created in line with the future strategic vision.
Essential Functional / Technical Skills:
  • Degree in Design or related Digital Content Creation field or equivalent work experience in a Digital Design related role.
  • Ability to balance efficiency and quality to create the best content possible to visualize the needs of the customer and the decisions that need to be presented to senior stakeholders.
  • Robust problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to iterate and refine content based on feedback and updates.
  • Expert in industry-standard 3D visualisation tools such as Vred, Blender, Unreal, and 2D tools like Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci etc.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with proven experience working effectively within cross-functional teams and being an excelling team player.
  • Strong resilience to feedback, design direction changes and team support, being agile with time, working location and work travel.
  • Flexibility: agile with working across multiple locations whether design offices or model workshops etc. Being clever with remote working parallel to reacting to the needs of the business week by week
