Purpose of Role

An opportunity exists within the Idiada Vehicle Development group for an experienced administrator to support test and development activities as part of a high-performance road car programme.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Timesheet and headcount data processing
  • Stationery stock and ordering
  • Canteen Consumables stock and resupply
  • Drive event organisation (catering, track, transport etc. bookings)
  • External track bookings
  • Fuel card and transponder allocation & monitoring
  • Maintenance of the staff rota and holiday plan
  • Budget tracker review
  • Workshop Consumable spend tracker
  • Printer Maintenance Requests and follow up
  • H&S administration
    • Mandatory Trainings for new employees
    • Yearly Health Checks
    • Supplier H&S Documentation (CAE)
  • General database administration (SharePoint, Org Chart, ROTA plan, 
  • Manage/Prioritise Meeting Room Bookings
  • Admin support for Suppliers related tasks (PO, GR, Queries, …)
  • Liaison with HR Team
    • New Starter intro/inductions
    • Order Base Kit
    • Liaison with Local team for general HR issues support
  • Main MAL Team interface to Idiada:
    • Staff Accesses
    • External Store Access
    • Facility Maintenance
    • Exclusive PG Bookings
    • Red Plate Bookings
    • Idiada Driving Permits
    • Post Collection from Tower/HQ
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience of administration in an engineering environment is an advantage
  • Must be proficient with all common Microsoft Office applications and be willing to learn new software programs as necessary
  • Excellent English communication skills required, both verbal and written, Spanish is also an advantage

  • Must be able to work well within a team of technicians and engineers
  • Must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, initiative, flexibility and determination to see a task through to completion
