Purpose of Role

Working with the Advanced Engineering team, this role is responsible for maintaining and developing the in-house web tools and back-end database including those for future vehicle target-setting and vehicle technical content. 

The AE team work on a rapidly varying variety of software, simulation, data and vehicle engineering projects with the opportunity for all team members to contribute to any project as long as their main responsibilities are under control.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Responsible for developing the software toolset to support pre-program target-setting and system roadmapping processes.
  • Responsible for defining and developing the software development methodologies for the toolset.
  • Responsible for working with the IT department to ensure the toolset is secure, robust and regularly backed up.
  • Supports communicating progress on the toolset to the wider business.
  • Responsible for creating and delivering an achievable plan for each 2-week sprint.
