It is our mission to become the employer of choice within the global automotive industry. This individual will report to the Managing Director – Europe Middle East & Africa. The role will work closely with the regional Sales and Finance teams as well as the relevant Head Office functions (principally Commercial Operations and Finance). The role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the European Financial Services Providers (FSP’s). The role is required to assist in the achievement of the retail objectives by optimising the promotion and sale of Financial Services products and services. It requires someone who understands both dealer and finance house operations in the region. In addition experience with optimising leasing opportunities while monitoring long term risk / exposure is key.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Responsible for market specific lease program steering and implementation 
  • Management of lease portfolio and off-lease process based on centrally aligned guidelines
  • Responsible for executing defined initiatives to reduce residual value risk increase contribution margins and boost customer retention
  • Lead region specific Financial Services governance responsibilities
  • Develop the Financial Services capability through improving existing relationships and creating new effective relationships with FSP’s
  • Identify opportunities and mechanisms for Financial Services to support new and pre-owned sales campaigns
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Financial Services compliance issues for relevant European markets
  • Ensure Financial Services plans are integrated into Sales objectives CRM and customer renewals processes
  • Achieve agreed KPI targets for Financial Services and manage submission of regional KPI reporting
  • Monitor and report on market residual values and rate support for competitive set
  • Responsible for European CPO program
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Finance or similar discipline 
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in automotive OEM
  • Experience in Financial Services operations
  • Experience of forecasting and objective settings
  • Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to build insight from data
  • Communication performance reporting and business case justification at a strategic level within an organisation
  • Experienced in dealer and Bank/Finance Co. negotiations
  • Understanding of loan underwriting and general risk / compliance policies
  • Strong understanding of residual values setting
  • Strong account management skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel Word and PowerPoint)
  • Well-developed negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and communications skills (written and verbal).
  • Detail oriented with excellent project management and organizational skill set
  • Ability to bring creative ideas solutions and translate them into actions
  • Confident with offering constructive challenge to all concerning financial or commercial ideas
  • Excellent influencing communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Strong at applying knowledge and experience to new situations
