Purpose of Role

Reporting to the Principal Control Software Engineer, the Controls Software Engineer will be working on all aspects to define, design and deliver control functions including requirements, interfaces, and algorithms.

Principal Accountabilities

· Implement control functions in MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow

· C-code generation and analysis

· Conduct SW components testing using MIL and SIL techniques

· Testing SW components within the system on the HIL

· Support vehicle software testing and calibration

· SW components verification & validation against requirements

· Work cross-functionally to deliver SW components

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

· Degree level education in a relevant Engineering discipline – electronic, mechanical, automotive, motorsport etc.

· Model-based control software development and verification

· Verification testing in MIL, SIL and HIL environments, and in-vehicle integration

· AUTOSAR software components generation and integration

· Compliance to industry standards such as ISO26262 and ASPICE

· Demonstrative experience in the automotive sector
