This is a role that will push you to develop your engineering capability with a major influence on the product with direct input into the design of vehicle EE Systematic Architecture. 

As part of the E/E Architecture team you'll shape the future of our electronic systems such as Hybrid Powertrain systems Transmission and Chassis Control systems HMI/UX and Body systems ADAS vehicle connectivity systems. 

With exposure to a variety of systems and platforms across programmes you'll be involved in the design and implementation of the whole-vehicle EE architecture systems interaction distributed functionality of new McLaren Automotive products. 

 The work involves cutting-edge EE platform technologies with a wide and complex scope touching optimisation robust design functional safety feature decomposition network communication diagnostics cybersecurity offering a great opportunity of personal and technical development.
Personal Attributes
Electrical software or automotive engineering degree 2:1 or above Deep passion for Automotive EE Architectures and Electronic Controls Systems Naturally technical able to employ fundamental engineering principles High self motivation willingness to learn and develop Ability to work as a team member and also confidently alone Knowledge of automotive network protocols e.g. CAN LIN Ethernet Good understanding of vehicle level system integration in terms of hardware and software Knowledge of Electrical Distribution Systems including circuit design wiring harnesses and power distribution. Experience with Architecture design and analysis software tools e.g. PREEvision CANoe CANdela DOORS
