We are seeking a dynamic and intellectually agile Director of Strategic Communications to develop and execute a cohesive corporate communications strategy that reflects the values, ambition and influence of this leading luxury brand. This role owns the direction and coordination of our communications agenda across key functions, including Employee Communications and Brand & Product PR, ensuring alignment and consistency in messaging and strategic objectives.
As the lead for CEO and executive communications, the role will also drive the creation and delivery of a thought leadership platform that elevates the voice of the business in global conversations.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in global communications strategy, stakeholder engagement, and high-impact storytelling.
- Creating and delivering consistent high-impact corporate messaging and tone that enhances our business reputation and builds long-term brand equity.
- Proactively promoting the business, its partnerships and leadership perspectives through earned, owned, and social media channels
- Setting the overarching strategic direction for communications across all business channels
- Leading regular planning and alignment forums across the business.
- Crafting high-impact communications for the CEO and executive team; from keynote speeches and opinion pieces to global forums
- Drive the development of CEO Office and shareholder messaging that informs, inspires, and cascades seamlessly throughout the organization
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, guiding on corporate positioning, crisis communications planning and risk management to maintain stakeholder confidence.
- Drive effective governance and processes to ensure effective alignment of communications across the business.
- Establish measurable goals for communication, monitor and analyse trends, and provide actionable insights to adapt strategies to changing political and regulatory dynamics.
- Proven experience (minimum 15 years) in global communications, preferably in the luxury or automotive sectors.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration, successfully aligning multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex, high-pressure situations with composure and strategic clarity.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with particular expertise in crisis communication planning and reputation management.
- Proficiency in leveraging data and analytics to refine communication strategies.
