Purpose of Role

The Digital Project Executive will be responsible for the delivery of the Digital product portfolio roadmap and feature release plans. The role will deliver significant transformation via our customer focused vision and have a broad technical skill base, with a sound understanding of CMS platforms, mobile apps, and data flows. 

Beyond technical knowledge is the requirement to own the delivery of the digital experience on our customer facing platforms, solving customer and business problems with a roadmap and feature release plan that has a clear focus on milestones and quality of delivery. 

Principal Accountabilities
  • Deliver upon the agreed roadmap and backlog; ensuring alignment to wider business goals. 
  • Implement the successful end-to-end delivery of McLaren Automotive’s digital customer experience. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and wider business to ensure content requests are managed and delivered in the agreed timeframe 
  • Drive engagement across the business, ensuring stakeholders are kept up to date with the roadmap and feature release plan 
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal and international teams to ensure the roadmap and feature release plan is globally appropriate and adhering to local governance and regulations 
  • Responsible for the on-time, on-budget and on-strategy delivery of digital products 
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with the agencies so that they are motivated, high performing and adding value to our business 
  • Own QA & User Acceptance Testing processes and validation 
  • Work collaboratively with the wider marketing team to develop integrated plans and opportunities 
  • Build effective relationships with all stakeholders across the business. 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Proven track record of end to end delivery of digital projects 
  • Experience in the management and delivery of content requirements 
  • Thorough understanding of CMS platforms and joining up data sources 
  • Management and development of multi-layered and multi-lingual systems. 
  • Strong understanding of Agile and project management methodologies  
  • Analytics and reporting on ROI of digital activity
