What to Expect
We are currently seeking a competent and skilled Composites Technician to join our expanding team at McLaren Composites Technology Centre (MCTC) Team. 

What You'll Do
Knowledge and application of technical skills to carry out production processes within TAKT, to the correct quality standards, delivered safely and effectively to meet the production plan. 

Support Team Leader with prioritising work and other activities and stand in to cover when required.  

Upskilling and training of new hires. 

Ensure the work area is clean, tidy and orderly at all times in line with brand expectations and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Provide a proactive contribution to process development, innovation and problem solving 
Set an example to production operatives.
 
Provide support on all processes in the department and any other area/department if and when required 
Experience & understanding of non-conformance process. 

Support production document creation (SOPs, WISs, Product Stds etc) 

What You'll Bring
Thorough understanding of Pre-Preg and/or Tub manufacturing process is preferential. 

Thorough Knowledge of composite materials. 

Previous background in composites manufacturing is preferential. 

Has developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job expertise.
 
Ability to read and interpret Engineering specifications.
 
Must demonstrate previous experience of using their own initiative and work under minimum supervision.  

Excellent problem-solving abilitie.

PC literate (MS Office, excel, word, power point etc).
