What to Expect

We are recruiting for Graduates to join our Commercial team at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey. As a Commercial Graduate, you will develop your skills and technical acumen in our sales, marketing, and aftersales environments while gaining hands-on experience with one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands. 

This is a two-year rotational programme (4 x 6 months) designed to accelerate your development and understanding of McLaren’s global commercial operations, supporting your progression into a permanent role within the business. 

Please note this is an on-site position. 

What You'll Do

As a Commercial Graduate, you will be immersed in three core functions—Sales, Marketing, and Aftersales—through a series of structured placements. These rotations are designed to build your commercial awareness, analytical capabilities, and customer engagement skills. 

Sales: 

    • Work alongside our Global Sales team to analyse performance data, develop retailer strategies, and support the allocation of limited-production vehicles. 
    • Gain exposure to market pricing, competitor benchmarking, sales forecasting, and the development of retailer incentive programmes. 
    • Collaborate with regional teams across EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas to ensure consistent delivery of commercial objectives. 

Marketing: 

    • Contribute to the development of global campaign strategies across digital, experiential, and influencer marketing. 
    • Support the execution of major launches, product positioning, and brand storytelling in line with McLaren’s premium identity. 
    • Gain practical experience in using data-driven marketing tools such as CRM platforms, SEO/SEM, and social media analytics. 

Aftersales: 

    • Support the lifecycle of McLaren vehicles through our global aftersales strategy, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and technical support. 
    • Gain insight into warranty data analysis, service programme planning, and global parts logistics. 
    • Work on strategic projects to enhance ownership experience and improve retailer network performance through customer feedback and quality assurance data. 

You’ll also take part in business-wide training, development workshops, and innovation challenges that sharpen your leadership and problem-solving capabilities. 




What You'll Bring
    • You must have achieved, or be on track to achieve, a 2:1 or above in a relevant degree discipline, such as Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering with Commercial focus, or related fields. 
    • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and organisational skills. 
    • A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. 
    • Some experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) is advantageous. 

You must also bring a passion for cars, and a desire to work at the cutting edge of the automotive industry within our Sales business area
