1. Business Partnering & Strategic Support
- Serve as the primary finance partner for MSO and Motorsport leadership teams.
- Provide insight, challenge, and financial guidance covering programme performance, commercial initiatives, customer activities, and cost management.
- Support pricing decisions, investment cases, and commercial proposals.
- Manage relationships across Product, Commercial, MSO leadership, Motorsport programme leads, and Operations.
2. Financial Reporting & Control
- Lead monthly management accounts for MSO and Motorsport, ensuring accurate P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting.
- Prepare variance analysis and commentary for Executive and Commercial leadership.
- Respond to audit and internal control queries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure strong governance around revenue recognition, bespoke project costing, and motorsport event/series accounting.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Own annual budget and periodic forecast cycles for MSO and Motorsport.
- Partner with stakeholders to build bottom‑up forecasts with rigorous cost and margin assumptions.
- Present risks, opportunities, and scenario analyses to senior leadership.
4. Process Improvement & Financial Governance
- Drive continuous improvement in costing, job profitability tracking, and financial controls.
- Strengthen forecasting methodologies across bespoke build programmes and motorsport initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to group finance policies and best practice standards.
5. Leadership & Team Development
- Manage and mentor a Senior Finance Analyst, ensuring they develop strong technical and commercial capability.
- Foster high standards of delivery, accuracy, and ownership within the team.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Big 4 experience desirable.
- Strong business partnering experience in a fast‑paced commercial environment.
- Experience within automotive, engineered products, motorsport, or complex programme accounting beneficial.
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and present financial insight clearly.
- Comfortable operating in a high‑accountability, results‑focused environment.
