Purpose of Role

As the PQ Gap and Flush Plan Coordinator, it will be your role to work on all vehicle programmes, to create, manage, and maintain the gap and flush plans and the CAD sections at key stages of the programme, based on best-in-class leading targets. 

We are looking for a talented individual with a background in engineering to help us execute our vision for vehicles with a higher sense of worth.

Principal Accountabilities

Weekly activities will include several planned discussions with the PQ Specialist about different areas of the car, making sure the Gap and Flush values are up to date. On occasion you will be expected to attend PQ sign-off reviews that impact the Gap and Flush Targets and assist the PQ Specialist. The PQ Gap and Flush Plan Coordinator reports to the Perceived Quality Attribute Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

You will need to be degree-qualified with a high level of achievement. You will require very good CAD and MS Office Skills, understanding of 2D drafting. You will be direct responsible for the creation of sections and section cutting planes using Catia V5 and update the specific documents. The role demands a consistent attention to detail for a long period of time. Previous experience in automotive and the ability to understand tolerance analyse and dimensional control will be of benefit. Also, you will require the ability to adapt to new tools and the use of CATIA (v5/v6) as the role progresses and as the Gap Plan development process changes.  Basic knowledge of VRED is a bonus. Your knowledge of the English language must be good (at least European C1 level).
