What to Expect
The Business Support Analyst will work alongside Solution Analysts and the Commercial teams by assisting with the maintenance, analysis, and improvement of Commercial IT solutions that help drive business performance across Sales, After sales & Marketing. This includes gathering and interpreting user requirements, supporting testing and deployment activities, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, user-focused IT services.
What You'll Do
  • Support and maintain commercial IT systems
  • Respond to user queries or issues, escalating more complex problems when needed
  • Support the accuracy of commercial data (e.g., sales figures, customer records, pricing).
  • Assist in creating or updating reports and dashboards for commercial performance.
  • Run routine reports and ensure data is correctly pulled from systems.
  • Document workflows, user guides, and system procedures.
  • Participate in small system enhancements or digital projects.
  • Help gather user requirements or perform basic system testing.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Commercial business systems
  • Learn how IT and commercial teams collaborate to achieve business goals.

What You'll Bring

  • Basic Commercial Awareness; understanding of how businesses generate revenue and manage costs
  • Awareness of common commercial functions: sales, marketing, After Sales and customer service.
  • Familiarity with terms like profit margin, KPIs, pipeline, and customer lifecycle.
  • General knowledge of how sales, pricing, order management, and customer support processes work.
  • Understanding of business systems and how they support commercial functions.
  • Commercial awareness and process thinking
  • Basic data analysis and reporting skills
  • Basic experience or exposure to Commercial systemss
  • Creating or updating user guides, support docs, or process documentation
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow
  • Basic understanding of how to identify process gaps or inefficiencies.
  • Ability to support dashboard creation or build simple reports
