What to Expect
Support and enhance McLaren’s Atlassian ecosystem through day-to-day administration, user support and delivery of platform improvements. This role is delivery and service-focused, working under the direction of the Enterprise Atlassian Platform Lead to maintain a reliable, well-governed platform for the enterprise. 
What You'll Do
  • Enterprise support: provide 1st/2nd line support for Jira/Confluence/JSM, including user access, permissions, troubleshooting and knowledge articles. 
  • Configuration & delivery: implement approved changes (workflows, fields, schemes, forms, automations, dashboards) and support testing/UAT. 
  • Operational excellence: monitor platform health, assist with incident/problem management and help maintain runbooks. 
  • User enablement: deliver onboarding, how-to guidance and lightweight training; promote consistent ways of working and templates. 
  • Reporting & insights: build and maintain dashboards, filters and basic metrics to support teams and leaders. 
  • Integration support: assist with marketplace apps, connectors and API-based automations; escalate complex items appropriately. 
  • Governance support: help maintain standards, documentation and configuration hygiene (naming, archiving, clean-up). 

What You'll Bring
  • Practical experience administering Jira and/or Confluence (cloud or data centre), including projects/spaces, permissions, workflows and dashboards. 
  • Good understanding of Agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban) and/or service management concepts. 
  • Comfortable translating user needs into configurations and explaining outcomes in plain language. 
  • Basic familiarity with JQL, automation rules, and integrating apps (training/mentoring provided).
