To ensure McLaren Automotive continues its desire to be “the sportscar company” we are looking for a Graduate Hybrid Controls Software Engineer to join our team. Principal Accountabilities Reporting to the Principal Hybrid Control Software Engineer the Graduate Hybrid Controls Software Engineer will be working on all aspects to define design and deliver control functions including requirements interfaces and algorithms. Implement control functions in MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow C-code generation and analysis Conduct SW components testing using MIL and SIL techniques Testing SW components within the system on the HIL SW components verification & validation against requirements Work cross-functionally to deliver SW components

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Skills knowledge and experience Degree level education in a relevant Engineering discipline – electronic mechanical automotive motorsport etc. Strong passion for automotive control design and development. Education or experience in Battery Management Software Hybrid Control Traction Control or model-based design desirable. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical design fundamentals. Great attention to detail and an attitude to produce ‘right first time’ quality work. PC literate and at ease with MS Office products.
