Purpose of Role

To ensure McLaren Automotive continues its desire to be “the sportscar company”, we are looking for a Graduate Body Control Software Engineer to join our team.

Principal Accountabilities

·       Reporting to the Principal Body Control Software Engineer, the Graduate Control Software Engineer will be working on all aspects to define, design and deliver control functions including requirements, interfaces and algorithms.

·       Implement control functions in MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow

·       C-code generation and analysis

·       Conduct SW components testing using MIL and SIL techniques

·       Testing SW components within the system on the HIL

·       SW components verification & validation against requirements

·       Work cross-functionally to deliver SW components

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

·       Degree level education in a relevant Engineering discipline – electronic, mechanical, automotive, motorsport etc.

·       Strong passion for automotive control design and development.

·       Education or experience in body electronic systems, power management, HVAC applications or model-based design desirable.

·       Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical design fundamentals.

·       Great attention to detail and an attitude to produce ‘right first time’ quality work.

·       PC literate and at ease with MS Office products.
