What to Expect
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 
To develop, enhance, and support IT applications that enable and optimise commercial operations, ensuring seamless user experiences, data integrity, and alignment with business goals.
What You'll Do
  • Design, build, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing applications that support commercial operations.
  • Translate business requirements into functional technical specifications and code.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Commercial platforms
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and commercial stakeholders to understand and interpret functional 
  • needs.
  • Propose technical solutions that are feasible, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements to ensure application reliability and user satisfaction.
  • Implement logic and validations to ensure high data accuracy across integrated systems.
  • Develop unit, system, and integration tests to ensure code quality and application stability.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and bug fixing. 
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation for code, 
  • systems, and integration points.
  • Work within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks to support incremental releases and ongoing feedback loops.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to the improvement of development standards and tools.
  • Recommend enhancements to improve system usability and performance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Business Knowledge:
  • Customer lifecycle and journey management
  • Understanding how customers interact with the business 
  • from acquisition to retention.
  • Knowledge of touchpoints across sales, marketing, service, and support.
  • Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service Processes
  • Familiarity with sales pipelines, lead and opportunity management.
  • Insight into customer service processes like case management, SLAs, and feedback loops.
  • Commercial Awareness
  • Understanding how CRM contributes to business KPIs such as customer retention, sales growth, and operational efficiency.
What You'll Bring
  • Essential Functional / Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing modules).
  • Familiarity with integrations to ERP (e.g., Dynamics 365, SAP and marketing tools.)
  • Skilled in agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban), lean product development, and data-driven decision making
  • Awareness of data protection standards (e.g., GDPR) and best practices in data quality and master data management.
  • Power Platform Awareness, working knowledge of Power Apps, 
  • Power Automate, and Power BI in a commercial context.
  • Personal Attributes / Competencies:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including business partners, Project Managers, Change team, testers, and end users.
  • Clear verbal and written communication, especially when explaining technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and manage multiple tasks or projects in fast paced environments.
  •  Strong sense of responsibility for deliverables, quality, and timelines
