Purpose of Role


Reporting to the Perpetual Inventory team leader you will support the logistics systems and inventory department, you will work alongside the Production and Logistics’ team in auditing stock and investigating transactional accuracy.

 

Principal Accountabilities


  • Execution of the Perpetual Inventory cycle counting process for both Warehouse and Lineside.
  • Kanban counts and corrections
  • Auditing the transaction accuracy of materials through the logistic landscape onto the vehicle.
  • Reference the SAP database to confirm system v physical stock.
  • Carry out investigations into stock discrepancies, both warehouse and line-side
  • Ensure issue capture to allow for effective communication to the relevant department to drive improvement.
  • Carry out ad-hock stock counts as requested, reporting completion and results.
  • System cleansing – SAP Interim locations
  • Support the return of good parts back to stock identified through the non-conformance process
  • Support the return of obsolete Kanban stock back to the warehouse
  • Re-Process Failed Non-Conformance tickets
  • Support the systematic completion of vehicles for despatch and the clearance of material  consumption issues (COGIs – control of goods issued)
  • Investigations and correction of top trending issues causing system shortage messages (COGIs)
  • Working within the company Shift patterns. Either on a fixed or rotating system
  • Population of the relevant KPI data as required
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Detailed understanding of Logistics and associated up and down stream processes
  • Previous experience within the manufacturing industry will be an advantageous
  • Competent user of Warehousing Management Systems (SAP will be an advantageous) and Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Ability to use MHE equipment will be advantageous
  • Development of key performance indicators.
  • Methodology of Route Cause Analysis
  • Experience within Shift work will be advantageous
